Custom Domain and SSL Configuration

Overview

The Custom Domain section in the Admin Console allows you to configure the LoginRadius-hosted pages to use your domain.

Use Cases for Custom Domains

  • White-labeled authentication for SaaS Platforms Enables SaaS providers to offer a fully branded authentication experience under their custom domain.
  • Partner & Vendor Portals – Provides secure and branded login access for partners, vendors, and resellers.
  • Multi-Tenant Authentication for Enterprise Clients – Allows enterprises to configure unique login domains for different clients or business units.
  • Compliance with Security & Privacy Regulations: Authentication must comply with industry regulations such as HIPAA, GDPR, and SOC 2.
  • Federated Identity & Single Sign-On (SSO) for Enterprise Clients – Enables seamless employee authentication across multiple subsidiaries or applications.
  • Improved Customer Trust & Professionalism – Builds trust by using a company-branded authentication domain instead of a third-party provider.

Pre-requisites: Your account must have the Custom Domain feature enabled. To activate this feature, contact the LoginRadius Support Team.

Steps to Set Up a Custom Domain in Admin Console

Go to Tenant Settings > Custom Domain in the Admin Console.Click the Add Custom Domain button. Enter your desired domain name in the Domain Name field. Click Save.In your domain's DNS Manager, update the CNAME record to point to <Your LoginRadius Site Name>.hub.loginradius.comThe domain verification process may take up to 12 hours. Once verified, your custom domain will be displayed under the Custom Domain section in the Admin Console.

Important Notes

  • If you set up a custom domain, ensure all social login provider applications (e.g., Facebook and Twitter) update their Return/Redirect URLs to reflect the new domain.
  • For multiple custom domains, submit a request to the LoginRadius Support Team.

SSL Configuration

If you encounter any issues related to SSL configuration on the custom domain, you can send a request to our LoginRadius Support Team. The request should contain details about the Certificate Provider, Certificate Signing Request, and Public Key. After you provide the relevant information, our team can assist you further.

Best Practices

  • Ensure your CNAME record is correctly updated in your DNS Manager to avoid verification failures.
  • Verify that your SSL certificate is properly configured to maintain secure connections.
  • After switching to a custom domain, update the Return/Redirect URLs in all third-party social login providers (e.g., Facebook, Google, and Twitter).
  • If you are using multiple custom domains, submit a request to the LoginRadius Support Team for proper configuration.
