User Analytics

This section will give you an idea of the key statistics of your LoginRadius app. This guide will provide insights about the multiple statistics available in the Console-->Insights tab, which represents user information about various aspects of analytics. This tab contains useful charts and analytic tools to view and measure your site's overall performance in terms of user registration and login. The information is aggregated and categorized into identity analytics and login analytics. These analytics will help improve the overall application performance and understand the user experience.

Key Terminology

This section defines commonly used terms in LoginRadius Customer Analytics:

TermDefinition
UID (User Identifier)A unique identifier is assigned to each user account and linked to all user activities, authentications, and profiles.
Active CustomersUsers who have logged in during the selected period.

Example: 100 active users in the last 7 days means 100 unique users logged in.
AAU (Annual Active User)A UID that performed at least one activity (e.g., login, profile update) within the past 12 months.

Counted only once per UID per year, regardless of login method or frequency.
MAU (Monthly Active User)A UID is active at least once in a calendar month.

Tracked in the backend for reporting and billing accuracy.
DAU (Daily Active User)A UID that logged in or performed an identity-related action within a single day.

Used in backend systems for daily activity tracking.
User ProfileRepresents each login method used by a user. A single UID may have multiple profiles (e.g., email, Facebook, LinkedIn).

Billing and active user counts are based on UID, not the number of profiles.
Identity Provider (IdP)A login method or service (e.g., Password, Google, Apple ID, Email OTP).

Multiple IdPs linked to the same UID are counted as one user.
Provider vs. Social Provider- Provider: Any login method configured for your site (e.g., Email, Facebook, Twitter).
- Social Provider: Only those used for social login (e.g., Facebook, Twitter).
Billing User CountThe number of unique UIDs used for billing.

Not based on the number of profiles or login attempts — ensures fair billing by avoiding duplicates.

Analytics

The Analytics section in the LoginRadius Console provides a clear view of how users interact with your platform — from account registration and profile completion to login frequency and return behavior.

It combines identity creation metrics with login activity to give your team a unified view of user engagement. You can filter the data by timeframe, identity provider, domain, or profile type to focus on specific user segments.

You can leverage this section under the Admin Console's Insight--> Customer Analytics. The LoginRadius Console divides Customer Analytics into two focused modules:

  • Identity Analytics

  • Encourage profile completion: More detailed user data improves segmentation and reporting.
  • Watch for anomalies: Unusual spikes in blocked or deleted users may signal system issues or abuse.
  • Track trends regularly: Weekly or monthly check-ins help identify what’s working or needs improvement.
  • Export and share: Most charts are exportable for team reporting or deeper data work.
