What is Password Policy?

Password policy is a protocol within an organization that is designed to enhance computer and network security. The policy encourages users to employ strong passwords containing special characters, numbers, and capital letters, or similar rules to ensure that no one can guess the password. Password policy is always a part of an enterprise’s official regulations, and employees or consumers are made aware of the same through security awareness training.
